The Eurotherm versadac is data recorder and acquisition unit for temperature and process applications. This scalable recorder offers a versatile solution for data recording at point of measurement. Comprehensive security and data integrity make it ideal for use in regulated industries, such as pharmaceutical or heat treatment.
The versadac consists of the data recording unit in a DIN rail mounted base housing which holds a number of input or output modules. The base housing can be ordered as 16, 8, 4 or 0 way, which is how many modules it can take. The modules can be inputs, such thermocouples, Pt100s, mA current loops and voltage process signals. Output modules such as relay modules, for alarms etc, can also be fitted. The recording unit can also use digital communications, such Modbus TCP or RTU, in conjunction with Virtual Channels to acquire and record process values from up to 32 controller instruments or PLCs. The RJ45 Ethernet interface is used for configuration and accessing data and a USB port also allows data download to USB memory stick.
Data is managed and viewed over a computer network using the Eurotherm software included. Additionally, live readings and instrument status can be viewed on almost any device with a standard web browser connected to the network.
A 24Vdc supply voltage is required to power the versadac; PSUs are also available for us at extra cost.
