Important COVID-19 Coronavirus Announcement.

TMS Europe are still open and providing essential calibration services to key industries including the NHS. We are following all the government guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for our staff and external customers and suppliers.

TMS Europe continue to operate to support the vital work of the NHS, pharmaceutical, waste management and power industries, providing essential calibration services and products to assist them in their efforts during these challenging times.

We wanted to let you know that we are still open Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm, and we are following all the government guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for our staff and external customers and suppliers.

We are practising social distancing and limiting the contact between our laboratory, manufacturing and administration, and working from home where possible. We are also ensuring the following hygiene practices are adhered to:

• washing hands regularly and using hand sanitizers
• avoiding sharing tools and equipment, and cleaning them after use
• ensuring our company policy COVID-19 visitor form is completed
• performing a full clean down at the end of each day.

As we are operating with limited staff, turnaround for calibration and lead times on manufactured products may be extended, but we aim to keep any disruption to a minimum and will keep customers up to date with any delays. Where possible we are prioritising customers working within key industries such as the NHS, Fire Service and other companies feeding into these organisations. We are also making efforts to contact our customers before despatching packages to ensure they can be received and in a way that complies with their COVID-19 company policy.

We understand that these are unprecedented and uncertain times, but we remain optimistic that we can work through this together by following the advice of the experts. We hope that you, your colleagues and families remain in good health and we look forward to your continued support.

A further note to help protect Peak District communities: – we understand that during these difficult times, a visit to Hope Valley, Edale or Ladybower/Derwent Dams is appealing, but please respect the local working community and try to avoid non-essential visits! You may put the health and livelihood of the residents at risk.
