Customised Block Calibrators
Building on the functionality of our standard models, we can offer customised blocks for different or larger probes. For our UBC models, with interchangeable sleeves, a bespoke sleeve is the primary option for less common probe requirements.
For our BC2001, in addition to our standard blocks, over the years TMS has produced a number of customised variations for other probe size combinations. We can manufacture with different blocks (as listed in the
BC2001 datasheet) as a Special Build Option on request, with typical lead times of 4-8 weeks. New bespoke designs of block, customised to your requirements, may also be available on request. Please contact us with your requirements for current pricing and availability.
Other varitions can also be offered, including provision for short immersion probes, timed program steps, and Eurotherm controllers for some our larger models. And can offer custom sub-zero units to can go as low as -40°C (60°C below ambient temperature).
Bespoke Sleeves
As well as manufacturing a range of stardard sleeve inserts for use in our UBC ranges of dry well block calibrators, other sleeves with
bespoke sizes may also be available on request, with single prices from £140 and typical lead time being 4-8 weeks. Unanodised 'blank' sleeves can also be supplied to customers equipped to peform their own precision machining and anodising.

Calibration of Block Calibrators
We offer ISO 17025 accredited calibration of dry well block calibrators in our
UKAS Calibration Laboratory. For our own units, we can also offer adjustment if needed.
Alternatively, some customers prefer to use an external reference standard that can be sent away for calibration, separate from the block calibrator, to save time. See our
Ref-Therm digital reference thermometers.
