The VA710 Thermocouple Calibrator is a precision source and measurement instrument for calibrating thermocouples and instruments.
This temperature calibrator performs two functions. In Input Mode, it accurately measures the milliVolt signals produced by thermocouple sensors and probes and displays them as a temperature. In Output Mode, you set the required temperature and it accurately generates its own milliVolt signal to simulate a thermocouple signal to an instrument (such as a digital thermometer, chart recorder, temperature controller, PLC, etc). These functions make it a very useful tool for calibrating, checking accuracy or fault-finding temperature process equipment in many industrial applications.
The calibrator measures through a thermocouple mini socket and can measure in °C, °F or mV. It is simple and easy to use, and can measure or simulate 8 types of thermocouple (J, K, N, R, S, T, E and B) and also millivolts. The unit features built-in cold junction compensation and displays its measured ambient temperature.
UKAS (ISO 17025) calibration is optionally available and is included free of charge when the calibrator ordered on the Webshop.
It is powered by 6 AAA batteries or can be mains powered with an optional AC adaptor.
